Sam's Hours: Sam's Club Is Changing Its Sunday Store Hours, Beginning This Weekend

"In a move hailed as a 'game-changer' by its loyal customer base, Sam's Club is expanding its Sunday store hours, starting this weekend. The warehouse club, known for its bulk discounts and loyal membership, will now be open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. every day, including Sundays. According to Steven Zapata, director of corporate communications at Sam's Club, the decision to extend Sunday hours came after the company received 'overwhelming feedback' from its members.
The new schedule will allow Plus members to shop an hour earlier, from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m., while basic members will be able to shop from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Sundays. The move is seen as a major win for Sam's Club members, who have long complained about the limited shopping hours on Sundays. 'We're thrilled to offer our members more flexibility and convenience,' says Zapata. The extended hours will also apply to holidays, with warehouses open until 8 p.m. on Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, and New Year's Eve.
But what does this mean for Sam's Club and its customers? According to a recent survey, 75% of Sam's Club members shop on Sundays, making it one of the busiest days for the warehouse club. By extending Sunday hours, Sam's Club is not only meeting the demands of its customers but also poised to gain a competitive edge in the retail market.
