Manchester Terror Attack Shatters Yom Kippur Peace

"Manchester, England - In a horrific attack that shook the northern city to its core, two members of the Jewish community were killed and three others left seriously injured outside a synagogue on Yom Kippur, the holiest day in the Jewish calendar.
As worshippers emerged from the Heaton Park Hebrew Congregation Synagogue, a car rammed into a group of people, followed by a stabbing attack. Responding police shot and killed the suspect, identified as 35-year-old Jihad Al-Shamie, a British citizen of Syrian descent.
