According to Delta, the collision was a 'low-speed collision' between two CRJ-900 regional jets operated by Endeavor Air, a Delta subsidiary. A flight attendant suffered a minor injury and was transported to a nearby hospital as a precaution.
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has launched a comprehensive investigation into the incident, which will examine the aircraft, pilots, and air traffic control procedures.
